Pinnacle View Reviews

We had a ladies weekend away , location was great , great places to eat and drink . The house was perfect for us , some of us went in the hot tub , then I had to wait on them filling the glasses up
Tracey
Dishwasher not working and covered in black mold, tumble dryer not working, reported day one but not fixed. First floorToilet screeches for two minutes after flush, downstairs toilet constantly runs. Bins full, owner did send father to take rubbish away but an inconvenience. Initially looks good clean and tidy but, both sofas , all cushions and arms badly stained and sag. Decor is badly patched up in some areas.wallpaper edges hanging in main bedroom. The wardrobe in this room cant be used as it's full of spare mattress, bedding, chairs and has mould on the ceiling. Maintenance of the house is poor inside and out as a slate tile fell off with snow melting and damaged the car. Sykes.. 6 days 6 emails on you've not responded to a single one .
Property as described. Thoughtful touch of wine and cakes provided by the host. I had explained that this was a pre Christmas get together for us and the host put a Christmas tree in the cinema room. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time at pinnacle view made use of hot tub, cinema room, and games room. Thankyou to Sharon for sorting our rooms and pubs to watch our rugby team in a huge semifinal. It was also lovely to arrive to a welcome pack of prosecco and pastries.A great property for large groups, would highly reccomend the afternoon tea on the boats in Skipton.
Had a lovely week. Stairs are a killer on old knees but got our steps in.as someone else put the house was clean but the furnishings and some decor are ready for a spruce.otherwise no problems.
Timothy
Great property for a family group and lovely welcoming touches as we were celebrating a big family birthday. Found it tricky communicating when we had issues and still cant seem to access messages from Sykes on the app!
Lovely comfortable well equipped property. Perfect for our family break over a long weekend. Sharon was friendly, welcoming and informative about the local area and places to go. We had a great time
10 family members rented the property to celebrate my 70th birthday. 6 adults and 4 children 4,8,9 and 14. We all had a great time the facilities were spot on as described. Sharon provided some flowers and birthday banners plus a bottle of prosecco a wonderful unexpected surprise. The kids and adults had a absolute ball, cinema room, pool table, darts and table football. The hot tub was a welcome relief when we arrived back from from doing the Cowling Pinnacle and Lunds Tower walk. Other walks are available and local eating establishments are listed in the overview that Sharon provides. Sharon was in touch prior to our stay to establish how the bedrooms were to be laid out singledoubletwin and configurations for the kids rooms. Overall a great weekend. I have no hesitation in recommending Pinnacle View.
We had an amazing time and would love to come back. Sharon was really helpful. Lots of pretty villages and country walks nearby. Lots of room in the house for us to spread out. Loved the hot tub, games room and the cinema room. Kitchen area is great because the person cooking can be sociable with the rest of the group in the living area. The extra upstairs lounge is useful if we wanted to socialise in two groups, or watch different TV.

We will most definitely be returning in the future, and I would highly recommend the property to others. The rooms are all spacious with enough bathroomstoilets to accommodate large parties. The beds are very comfortable we all felt well rested on are return. Theres lovely walking routes near and a great selection of pubsrestaurants The hot tub was a great little extra. Perfect temperature and spotlessly clean.
Carina
What a beautiful house! Top marks for everything! The Hot Tub, movie room and games room was an absolute bonus. The house was lovely and clean, the seating and beds were extremely comfortable. Robes were provided for the Hot Tub which I personally thought was a lovely touch. I would like to add that the owner went above and beyond to look after us during our stay. I was celebrating my 60th Birthday with some friends, the house was dressed with banners and balloons, a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge...... such a lovely thing to do for me. Sharon also helped us with recommendations for Afternoon Tea and Sunday Lunch venues, she was on hand at all times, nothing was to much. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful house in the lovely, scenic village of Cowling.
Christina
Beautiful property had a truly lovely weekend there. Loved the hot tub & the games room. Beds were super comfy.
Great house for 3 families with mixed age children. Hot tub, games room and cinema room enjoyed by all. Lovely walks from the doorstop and lots to do a bit further afield. Sharon, the owner is very welcoming and responsive with nothing being too much trouble. Hope to return in the future.
Brilliant holiday property. Owner was welcoming and available for any issues. Lovely gesture with bottle of fizz and delicious cakes. House was exactly as described, with everything we needed for our stay

Loved everything. Great for a party weekend had a great time. House a bit tiered, fantastic owner she was very friendly, and decorated the house for our weekend, could not ask for more
Fabulous propertyperfect for getting everyone in the family together for a celebration. The owner of the property couldnt do enough for us and decorated for our special occasion.
Eleanor
Wow!!! What can I say we had an amazing stay. We were a group of work colleagues who were celebrating a 40th and 60th birthday. Sharon the owner decorated the house with banners and balloons. She also left a bottle of prosecco and a birthday cake in the fridge at no extra cost to us which was a lovely touch. The minor problems we did have with the WiFi, television and fridge were sorted immediately by Sharon and therefore caused us no issues. The hot tub is lovely and well maintained as is everything in the house. The information provided by Sharon was detailed and informative and we enjoyed a walk up to the Pinnacle. Sam's Pizzas in Cowling is delicious and very reasonably priced. The Bay Horse pub is also cosy and welcoming. Stayed for 3 nights wished it had been longer. Will definitely be back.
Great for families and groups, the host made a special effort to decorate for my friends 60th with balloons flowers and cakes plus some bubbles in the fridge. Us group of girls found the place perfect for us great base to explore x
Eleanor
The owner, Sharon, was fantastic with great communication before and during our stay. We didn't want to leave. Kids 5 x boys between 6 and 15 years old all loved the games room, cinema room and hot tub. They didn't get their laptops out once and barely used their phones so a great electronics detox. Plenty of space for 9 of us without being on top of one another. Kitchen facilities great. Only tiny niggle was the water pressure and there's probably nothing that can be done about it. The showers were not great and could turn to a trickle and almost stop completely if someone used water elsewhere. Garden can get muddy due to hot tub probably so make sure dog and child paws are cleaned before being allowed back in. We would stay again.
Gillian
Lovely cottage, well equipped. Lovely being greeted by Sharon the owner. Everything we needed for our family get together. Special birthday & was greeted with banners, balloon, cake & fizz. Lovely touch.
Lovely property, well equipped, great communication, would recommend to anyone to stay here x
Michelle
We enjoyed our stay even though We had a few issues The house was large enough, the only trouble was the fridge was tiny and in quite a bad state! the owner did tell us another had been ordered but that didnt help us unfortunately! There were no large pans for cooking for a large amount so I had to message the owner and one was kindly brought straight away that day luckily! The projector in the cinema room was awful quality when we tried to watch a film so we told the owners who came to look but had to take it away to fix and then replace which was done quickly but it meant we were without it for a couple of days! The other negative is the top floor shower is literally a trickle! and the carpets have lots of stains on them! The owner is great at sorting things straight away and very friendly, and helpful! She cant do enough for you really and that was reassuring when we had to contact her.
Rachael
Great Time used the property as a base with the family for a pre Xmas weekend away. Fab games room and cinema room. Bedding was Xmas themed and Xmas decorations up. Even little gift waiting for us on the table and for the kids. Would recommend and would return. Thankyou
An ideal house for a family gathering. Plenty to entertain indoors in bad weather, lots of options outdoors in good weather. Well equipped and comfortable, with many thoughtful extras
The property was lovely, ideal for our family party. Sharon was very helpful and made our stay wonderful. With flowers, cake and Prosecco!
Michelle
The personal touches that Sharon gave were fantastic it was a special birthday for me and my 2 sons on arrival she had a cake made with 50th, 18th and 21st on along with champagne on ice which was such a special touch. She was so good at ensuring we had everything we needed. Sharon is with out a doubt the best host. Thanks so much will definitely be returning. Michelle and family.
Three generations had a great holiday in this large comfortable house with fabulous facilities and lovely views. Communication with the owner was brilliant. Sharon is a great host and the extras such as fresh flowers, cake and wine made us feel very welcome. We hope to return in the future. Thanks Sharon
Danielle
A lovely warm welcome from Sharon and a beautiful house in a beautiful area. Couldn't fault it aside from maybe the number of stairs!, but for our little family there was something for everyone! Pool table for dad, hot tub for mum and a cinema screen for the kids! Absolutely brilliant place, brilliant host and absolutely would recommend to anyone!
A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our host was really friendly and we all enjoyed the facilities. The hot tub, games room and cinema style lounge were excellent. It was a nice touch to receive the chocolate and Prosecco when we arrived and the sky tv was something that you dont get many other places, so was great for a wet and windy weekend.
Very attentive owner, great arrival. Lots of basics in house. Loved pool table and hot tub.
The owners went above and beyond what was necessary to make our break wonderful ,the house was very clean and there was everything you needed I think the little extra touches they added were very much appreciated by all of us and we would recommend it to all family and friends.
Sarathkumar
