Absolutely lovely places to stay everything you need. Bev is so helpful and even set up a birthday banner for us with some sweets and bottle of bubbly

The Little Barn was so lovely. So nice being in lovely surroundings. We were two adults and a 3 & 5 year old. Plenty of space, very clean and tidy. Beautiful kitchen over looking hills and the steam train passing by. There is a little climbing frame and swings but we didnt use it while we were there. We saw deer, chickens and ponies out of kitchen window also! We had an enclosed garden due to our daughter being autistic and has a tendancy to run off so that was really handy. Bev gave us instructions of how to find the barn as its down a little track. We ordered food while we were there from a takeaway and they were able to find the barn with no problem. They had thought about most things you would need while away. We asked for a baby gate and glad we did as the stairs were quite narrow and steep and stopped our little ones escaping up them! Beds were lovely and comfy and the top bedroom had a beautiful bath in overlooking the hills. We would definitely love to come back.

Bev your little barn cottage is the perfect place to watch the Keighley and worth valley railway steam train go by from your upstairs windows. Easy to get to and find. Like a hotel but more stylish. Would definitely recommend your place for a break. Escape from the busy crowd.
The cottage was clean and comfortable, we read reviews and everyone praised it, and they were right. .a perfect break for us, from the chickens greeting us when we arrived to the hot tub to relax in after some lovely days outwe would go back again
Wonderful place, unique situation with deer coming to visit. A few very minor niggles I lost count of how many times I knocked the toilet roll off the holder in the downstairs bathroom it needs a knob or something to keep it in place. Also the hot tub filter could probably do with upgrading since there was always some garden detritus leaves etc in it after use. But these might have weighed more heavily since we were unable to move around as much as usual owing to our car breaking down. I would strongly recommend the property.

This was our third time of staying in one of Bev's properties and for the third time it was fantastic. The cottage was spotless throughout. Every little detail had been thought about. We brought the big kids this time and they had an amazing time too. They loved feeding the chickens, spotting the steam train passing in the distance, finding the deer in the trees and also clowning around in the hot tub. Until next time. Thank you Bev
Great cottage in a lovely location, chickens and deer a lovely addition as was the hot tub. A small problem with the boiler which was dealt with swiftly. Thanks again for a great stay.

We had a wonderful weekend, we will be back!

We visited this heavenly place in August 2024. After returning from Greece we wanted a little get away with our new baby. This was the BEST place and most relaxing place weve been..! Even though Bev was on holiday at the time she still ensured she answered all of our questions sorry for disturbing your holiday Bev. Our little baby loved the hot tub and everything about this beautiful place . I would rate it over 10 but it doesnt have that option..! Memories for life thanks for the amazing stay we are planning on returning for our babies birthday hopefully! Many many thanks ..! X
Absolutely beautiful stay in a stunning location. Every need provided for. The chickens are a delight mind the little rooster, he's a devil and will sneak up behind and give you a peck Bev is a lovely host and we will be back! Thank you xx
We had a lovely relaxing weekend. The property was lovely, really comfortable and every detial of what you'd need for a home from home was thought of. From opening the front door to lovely music playing, to the lovely welcome basket and the hot tub, the beautiful views and the huge bath in the bedroom, we loved it. Thank you so much this was just what we wanted and needed.

We had a fabulous stay at Little Barn. The cottage is lovely, really well presented, clean and comfortable. The views are fantastic and the courtyard and hot tub is brilliant, a really nice place to relax. The children enjoyed feeding the chickens. Thank you for the bottle of bubbly, biscuits and sweets for the kids for when we arrived thats was a really nice touch. Bev, the owner was in touch and left us really good instructions for travelling to the cottage ahead of our stay. Highly recommended, we did a short stay for half term week. We will be booking again. Thanks Bev
This was our second time at Little Barn. It's a real home from home really comfortable, with everything you need. The chickens are a bonus, we loved seeing them every day you may also see some deer if you're lucky. Loved the hot tub, really relaxing. The owner, Bev, could not be more helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back!
This is such a relaxing place to stay, clean and very comfortable, really well equipped and great host. Being visited by the local wildlife for treats made the stay quite magical. Highly recommend and cant wait to stay here again.

We stayed at Little Barn for three nights and really enjoyed our break away! The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. We ventured off to Ilkley, Skipton and Haworth during our stay and did some fantastic walks in glorious weather makes a change!! Returning back to the hot tub at the cottage was a real highlight and we thoroughly enjoyed a dip each evening! Communication with Bev the owner was great and she went above and beyond to provide everything we needed, including a lovely welcome hamper! The main highlight well my wifes highlight was the chickens, who visited us each morning..mainly because they got fed with the chicken feed provided!! We also saw deer while at the cottage which was a real treat! The only thing I would say that could improve the cottage would be a king size bed in the downstairs bedroom! Not a major issue, but a bit more comfortable for those of us over 6 and theres plenty of room to fit one in! Overall, for a relaxing break away, I would highly recommend a visit to Little Barn!
Michelle
We spent 3 nights at little barn from the 15th of April for a local minimoon. We absolutely loved the cottage, it was immaculate, luxurious and so comfortable. The views from the cottage were amazing. The hot tub was lovely, especially first thing in the morning...so peaceful with just the birds singing. We had a deer in our garden and the chickens were really lovely and quite comical! Haworth village was so nice, very picturesque and easy to walk to. We would definitely return to the cottage. The host was always on hand should we need any information and checked in with us during our stay to check we were ok. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch containing a bottle of prosecco, some sweets and chocolates, a small bottle of milk and some fresh eggs. Thank you so much for the lovely minimoon.
Beautiful property very clean and well equipped easy correspondence so spacious and comfortable
The property was lovely with little extras that ''made it''. We walked in to lovely music, warmth and a homely feel. A welcome pack of biscuits, a bottle of Prosecco and a cute milk bottle! Not sure if that's std or left by others On arrival, the initial drive into the back yard area was a little shock a bit of a run down look, however we feel its maybe being done up and should we return in a year or so, it could look very different. The deer and the hens roaming about are lovely to see, with feed provided for them had great fun feeding the fowl The yard area and hot tub is private, well maintained and ready for use on arrival. The house is well stocked, welcoming and modern. The owner Bev was VERY friendly & helpful, with lots of local knowledge and never tired of my questions! lol Was nice to have direct contact with the owner, instead of someone with no knowledge of the property or area. Local shops are about 40mins walk away, Local WMC Bocking WMC 10mins walk and worth a visit very welcoming, friendly and looks like recently modernised. Steam train runs from the station within the local village.
The ground floor bed was far too small to accommodate two grown adults. If the bedside cabinets were to be replaced with smaller more normal sized ones then it would be possible to fit a king size bed in that room making it the same comfort as the bedroom on the first floor. A wonderful bonus, Chickens came to the door every morning to be fed by hand for their breakfast. As well as that delight we were able to feed, again, by hand, Deer from the nearby trees whilst hearing the steam train at the bottom of the garden. Fantastic!,
Absolutely smashing time at Little Barn. Fabulous views, convenient location and our own petting farm for toddler granddaughter! Thank you Bev for the warmest hospitality.
If you are hesitating over the 'book' button . .. just press it
Yet again another amazing stay at little barn. We went for a Christmas break. On arrival the Christmas tree was up and lit with Christmas music playing. The place was spotless. Bev was so attentive and the perfect host. Always on hand. This is the second time we have stayed and just booked again for next year. The best place that we have stayed in the UK. Thank you Bev

Amazing stay at Little Barn. I cannot recommend highly enough. A perfect base for exploring West Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales. The property was great. It had everything youd need and was tastefully decorated throughout. The welcome basket and fresh eggs were much appreciated treats. The views were beautiful. There were wild deer in the grounds, never been so close! Quite the experience. The chickens also popped by to say hello each morning. You could see the Keighley and Worth Valley railway steam train pass by from the window. Visited Hebden Bridge, Malhamdale including Malham Cove, Janets Foss and Gordale Scar, Harrogate, Haworth and Goit Stock falls. There were lots of nice places to eat within a short drive. Galos kitchen in Ilkey was so good and such great value. Also went to the Shibden Mill Inn, Engine Social in Sowerby Bridge and Bettys tea rooms in Harrogate. After a day out exploring, to return to the large hot tub, the private patio area, the free standing bath and comfy bed were just what was needed. Bev was extremely helpful and a lovely host.

Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect! Bev was a great host and communicated with us really well before and during our stay, she was super attentive throughout and because we were getting there late in the evening, she warmed up the hot tub for us so we could get right in when we arrived. Bev also left us some fresh eggs from the chickens which was amazing and so kind. The cottage itself was so clean, cosy and really felt like home there was nothing we could fault. The bedrooms were a very good size, the bed was comfortable and we absolutely loved the view from the bedroom and the little room by the upstairs bedroom where you can see the steam train go by as you get ready! We had chickens come up to the door in the mornings and a deer in the garden, and as you drive up the driveway you can spot the family of deers, such a cool experience. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely come back to Little Barn, we loved every minute of this place thank you Bev!
Absolutely an amazing place to stay, nice and quiet and out the way, but still near plenty of shops and other facilities. Owner was absolutely amazing and very accommodating could not be any better.
Little Barn exceeded our expectations Warm and cosy with modern decor and very well equipped . Very comfortable beds and a good shower Bonus of a hot tub too
Fabulous stay in beautiful green surroundings! Bev is a very attentive host, sending a welcome text, messaging if the windowcleaner was due to visit...Everything in the property was extremely clean, and was bigger than the pictures online! I loved the hens and the hot tub! The huge bath in the upstairs bedroom was amazing! Definitely a property to keep in mind when in the area again!
We had a lovely week stay at little barn. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Bev the owner left us fresh eggs and a bottle of wine as well as some chicken feed. My 2 boys loved the chickens. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
This was the most amazing holiday we've ever been on! the hosts were so helpful, always available nearby, and did everything they could to enhance our stay! house was really clean and really well equipped! we highly recommend this cottage. especially enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful views from cottage! would love to come again! thanks Bev

The description of the place doesn't do justice to the place or hostess. The place was so lovely and clean and had everything you could think of. The hostess was simply so nice and caring. I was my first stay away from city life and we loved very moment here. Such a great place and hostess. I can recommend this for anyone who is looking for a relaxing away from city stay in cozy homey surroundings Thank you everything Bev!

A proper home from home, fully equipped. Beds were clean and comfortable, as was all of cottage. The owner couldnt have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. Chickens running free and jar feed left for them was a lovely touch. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you Bev
Vanessa
Very quiet peaceful place. The host was lovely adding little welcoming touches on arrival. We had an enjoyable time. The barn is spacious and well equipped. The only down side was the entrance to the drive it was a bit of a shock and the steep uneven drive took a bit of getting used to. If you love chickens you will love it as they come to greet you every time you appear out of your car or barn. It was a real treat to bathe in the bath and enjoy the beautiful view and passing steam trains!!
A lovely comfortable house with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Clean and well equipped.Owner Bev kept in touch to ensure we had a good stay. The friendly hens were a cute extra who greeted us on our arrival
Absolutely fabulous. Felt like home from home. Lovely, comfortable cottage with amazing hottub. The bed was really comfortable, which is unusual in holiday lets. Loved the 'country feel' of the place chickens, deer, etc. Good location for visiting lots of interesting places. The owner is nearby and is really friendly and helpful. We will be going back next year.
