Both bedrooms are luxurious with en-suites - one featuring a freestanding bath with hand-held shower, the other rocking a Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has all the essentials: oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Upstairs, the sitting room has a Juliette balcony for those "I'm fancy" moments. The enclosed courtyard with hot tub is where you'll spend evenings though - just remember it's closed 8pm-8am (no midnight skinny dipping).

Skipton Castle (4 miles, 10 min drive) offers 900 years of history in one of Britain's best-preserved medieval fortresses. The house and location were amazing. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub and sauna were welcomed after a day walking and biking. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend staying here

Lovely place in a quiet village. Exactly what we were looking for far from the crowds. Excellent location for exploring Yorkshire Dales, within 20 or 30 minutes of several walking options. A perfect week, thank you Kyle and Nicola. Stylish, very comfortable and well equipped. We spent a huge amount of time just watching the comings and goings on the canal and through the lock. Supermarket, fish and chip shop and pubs within 5 minutes walk. Plus plenty of lovely walks nearby. Very sad to leave.
The 4 of us had an amazing stay at 6 Lock View, we were met on arrival by Kyle who gave us a quick but informative run down of the property. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all the facilities listed worked perfectly even if we did have a little difficulty working the electric hob but managed for our needs. The house is perfectly located with lovely views of the canal lock fields. We ate the local Indian restaurant one night which was excellent. Everything about our stay was excellent, the only slight gripe was we found the table and chairs outside a little large for the limited yard space. Hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi bath all lovely, wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hopefully return one day.

An excellent property in all respects. it is well located with panoramic views of the hills and the LeedsLiverpool canal. It was very handy that the property has an electric car charger which was one of the main reasons we decided to book here. We were particularly impressed with the family members owning the property who were very approachable and helpful even down to guiding us to the property on our arrival. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

A fantastic property with a beautiful view x As soon as we stepped in, it felt like home Immaculately clean, everything you could possibly need hot tub and a sauna. We took our 10yr old chocolate lab Stanley who enjoyed sitting on the first floor balcony watching the ducks, barges and wagging his tail at every passerby. The wine, chocolate and milk were a lovely touch. Kyle and Nicola were great hosts who greet you in person the night you arrive and were available if you needed them. Walks for all ages and abilities Gargrave is a beautiful village with 3 pubs, a lovely cafe and gift shop full of sweet treats that take you back in time. An Indian Restaurant delicious and a Fish Shop offering tasty meal deals for all budgets. Gargrave is is a great base for Ingleton, Malham, Skipton and Settle too. My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay at Lock View. The weather wasnt kind to us but we were always warm and comfortable in the house. Its in a great location and for us the EV. Charger was really convenient.
The cottage is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. There was nothing that had not been thought through, including the view of the lock. Although this is a semi detached property, there is sufficient space and insulation for this not to be a problem. We had a restful fortnight enjoying The Dales and visiting some of the areas suggested by previous occupants. The local restaurants were exactly as described, the village has a well stocked Coop and a tearoom, which are within a short stroll from the cottage. We would definitely recommend this property and will be revisiting it.

We had an amazing relaxing stay the property is well maintained with ample utensils we had a problem with the property on the first morning Kyle was straight over to sort it. The views from the property are amazing our dog loved the balcony watching the ducks in the canal & people & boats going by. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is exactly as advertised and a great base to explore the Dales. Kyle and Nicola were very welcoming hosts. Being right on the canal is a definite bonus, with the tranquility and scenic access to the town centre.
Lovely little property, would benefit from larger bath towels though. Would also be great if some sort of gazebo roof could be put over the hot tub so it couldve been used more in the rain which it did! Overall though we had a lovely stay & would return

A wonderful stay in a lovely house in a perfect location. Fabulous views of the canal from the living room and master bedroom. We loved watching the barges go by and the working locks although I wouldn't want to try to do it myself !! It was very peaceful but also 5 minutes away from the pub and the local shop. The house has everything you could possibly need. My teen loved the hot tub and sauna. We were lucky to have lovely sunny weather and the house was very cosy and warm. A real home from home and a great relaxing break. Would love to return!

Another superb weeks break in a fabulous cottage with everything you could hope for. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated of a high standard with magnificent views. We stayed at the cottage next door last year and knew we'd be back just didn't think it would be so soon. We've made full use of all the facilities, another well equipped kitchen, enjoyed the Hot Tub sauna and spa bath. Lovely welcome pack of milk, chocolate and bubbly on arrival. Location is perfect In a beautiful village with plenty of places with in walking distance and beautiful places to drive to. Highly recommend the Sunday roast at the Mason Arms Also a Fish and Chip shop, Indian and a quant tea rooms. Which is a must to try as they are all fantastic Also there is a well stocked village Coop. The hosts were very friendly, and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.
This property was of a very good standard and very luxurious with a hot tub and sauna! It was worth every penny we paid for it. The bedrooms were so beautiful as was the rest of the house with everything we needed for the 3 days we were staying there. Nicola was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back.
